A note from the founder · Jonathon Lewis
I grew up never traveling. Then travel changed my life — and I built JetQuest to give that to others.
I grew up never traveling. Once I became an adult, the first thing I did was see the world on the budget I had. I realized how TRAVEL changed my life, gave me an international network, and opened my mind to a place it could never go back from. I wanted to give that same experience to others.
When I started JetQuest, I had three phases in mind. Five years, all organic, no investors, 22 trips mainly hosted by me, and 600 travelers later, we are finishing Phase 1. We've learned and grown a lot; many of our travelers have become like family. We've had ups and downs, but that's what makes a great success story.
As we move into Phase 2, we are growing our internal team fast. We've selected the best hosts to collaborate with us so we can do more trips, moved our headquarters to Medellín, Colombia, and are building the JetQuest app—a platform that changes how the world does group travel.
Phase 3 looks like launching the most dominant app in group travel that empowers individuals not just to travel, but to make a living hosting if they choose to. To get there, we have to make it through Phase 2, and that means we need your support NOW.
We want the people who believe in us most to shape that platform. The Founders Circle isn't just for people who want a discount; it's much bigger than that. This is about giving us the gas we need to take JetQuest to the moon. This is a major turning point in our story.
Before Airbnb got their first major investors, they sold Barack Obama and John McCain-themed cereals called Obamos and Captain Mccains at a premium price to raise funds to keep their business alive. Creative promotions like this kept them alive and turned them into one of the biggest companies in the world. This one-time "Founders Circle" promotion is OUR moment, and your chance to truly be a part of our founding story. Without the people, JetQuest doesn't exist.
This isn't just a discount; it's a legacy position.
See you on the next trip!
