About the morning
JetQuest Altitude: AfroTech Edition is a morning to recharge at Heights House Hotel, a boutique hotel in the Houston Heights, on the Saturday of AfroTech week. From 10 AM until 2 PM, reset your body and your energy after a big week with the JetQuest community.
Start with a Pilates session for every level, then take on the ice baths in small groups. Right after, a short poolside panel on burnout and wellness for founders and builders, then pool time, our sponsors, and plenty of time to talk.
It's free, by request. There are 40 spots for the mats and ice baths, and every guest is approved. Bring your activewear and your swimwear.
Why you should be in the room
Recover from the week
AfroTech runs five full days of stages, expo halls and late nights. Altitude is the Saturday morning your body is asking for: Pilates, a cold plunge, and sun.
The real connections happen outside the halls
The relationships that last are built away from the badge scanners, over a plunge and a juice with people who were in the same rooms all week.
Black wellness, centered
A morning built around rest, movement and care, for a community that spent the whole week building. No experience needed and no pressure to keep up.
Leave with people, not business cards
End AfroTech week with a few people you'll actually text, and a crew to plan the next trip with.
