Day 1· Thu, Oct 15
Land at Narita or Haneda Airport (NRT/HND) and step into Tokyo, neon, precision, and a city operating on another level. Settle in, then gather for the Mastermind Dinner to open the week with the group.
Day 2· Fri, Oct 16
A full day across Tokyo, Shibuya's crossing, the energy of the districts, the food, the streets. October is the ideal window: mild weather, clear skies, and none of the peak-season crowds. The night opens into Tokyo's legendary nightlife.
Day 3· Sat, Oct 17
Beyond the headlines, the temples, the neighborhoods, the small rooms that make Tokyo endless. A curated day of contrasts before another group dinner in the city.

Day 4· Sun, Oct 18
Board the Shinkansen bullet train and watch Japan blur past at 200 mph en route to Kyoto, the ancient capital, where the country trades neon for temples and tradition.
Day 5· Mon, Oct 19
A full day among Kyoto's temples, shrines, and quiet beauty, the first hints of autumn color in the trees. The JetQuest pace: immersive, elevated, unhurried.
Day 6· Tue, Oct 20
Deeper into Kyoto's traditions, the gardens, the streets, the rituals that have held for centuries. A group dinner that lands differently in a city this still.

Day 7· Wed, Oct 21
A final curated day to chase whatever caught you, one more district, one more meal, one more moment. Tonight, the Farewell Dinner closes the week the way it began, together.
Day 8· Thu, Oct 22
Breakfast and departures. You leave Japan having seen both its futures and its past, neon and ancient, together in one week.
Where you'll stay
Three nights in a refined Tokyo hotel and three nights in a traditional Kyoto ryokan with tatami rooms and onsen access.

Meet Your Host
Jonathon is the founder of JetQuest, a former corporate professional who walked away to build the travel club he wished existed. Equal parts host, connector, and operator, he has lived in Medellín, traveled to 30+ countries, and leads our founder-led experiences alongside a hand-picked team of JetQuest hosts and ambassadors.
What sets a JetQuest apart isn't just the itinerary. It's the room. Every traveler is hand-picked for the energy they bring, and Jonathon's job is to make sure the right people end up around the same table, in a city worth showing up for.
On the ground, Jonathon and our trained host team handle the logistics, the introductions, the Mastermind Dinner, and the late-night plans you weren't expecting. You just show up.
